Our Mission
Seed & Soma is a small, women-owned business dedicated to the well-being and sustainability of physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental health.
We offer products, services, workshops, events, and classes bridging plant medicine, bodywork, and spirit medicine.
We recognize the dynamic interrelationships of living ecology and created an organization to support these dimensions of health needs through truly holistic, interdisciplinary, and collaborative means.
Her classes, both yogic and neurobiological, encourage befriending and exploring somatic and spiritual sensations and integrating subtleties into complete embodiment. Her specialty is The Neurobiology of Trauma and how we can work with the energetic and physical bodies, along with plant medicines, to come into deeper states of regulation and relationship.
She is passionate about health and wellness, taking a holistic, ecologically savvy approach to working with clients and creating environmentally responsible products. She has trained in Yoga Workshop Facilitation, Myofascial Release, the Neurobiology of Yoga, Auricular Acupuncture, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Usui Reiki I, II & III, NeuroAffective Touch, Vagal Toning Techniques, Embodied Processing, Motivational Interviewing, Non-Violent Communication, Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, & AED, and Emergency Medical Care.
She has spent the past decade studying psychology, psychedelics, global and historic plant-medicine practices, the neurobiology of trauma and addiction, somatic techniques for restoring the nervous system, Zen Buddhism, plant-human relationships, and trans-species communication.
Eden published her first book, The Dharma Files in 2022.
In her free time, Eden loves photography, painting, writing, hiking, camping, traveling, road trips, snowboarding, spending time with her pets and partner, and eating delicious food.
Our Founder
Meet Eden, MS, RYT, the heart and the brain behind Seed & Soma. Eden is an Ethnobotanist, soon-to-be Herbalist, Yoga Instructor, Auricular Acudetox Technician, and non-clinician Somatic Practitioner who holds a Master's degree in Ethnobotany, a Bachelor's in Psychology, is certified in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, and holds a 200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher certification with a 40 hr specialization in Trauma Informed Yoga and Yoga for Grief - Theory and Therapeutic Application.
Eden is fascinated by the mind-body-spirit-environment interface and continues to explore these relationships professionally and personally. Her work combines insight, science, and traditions from her studies, cultivating a grounded, safe, and expansive environment in her practice; bridging the mind-body matrix and working from a bottom-up approach.
