Our Mission
Seed & Soma is a small, woman-owned business dedicated to the well-being and sustainability of physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental health.
We offer products, services, workshops, events, and classes bridging plant medicine, bodywork, and energy healing.
We recognize the dynamic interrelationships of living ecology and created this project to support these dimensions of health through truly holistic, interdisciplinary, and collaborative means.
Eden created Seed & Soma not so much to be a business, but to be a ground for the sharing of knowledge and the gifts of nature. This is the work that connects us. Her classes, spanning yogic, botanic, and neurobiological foundations, encourage befriending and exploring somatic and spiritual sensations, bridging the mind-body matrix, working from a bottom-up approach, and integrating subtleties into sensate embodiment.
She created a blend of Eastern and Western healing modalities called Neuro-Somatic Energy Healing in which she works with the layers of the physio energetic body and nervous system to repattern and retrain our embodied experience.
She is passionate about health and wellness, taking a holistic, ecologically savvy approach to working with clients and creating environmentally responsible products. She’s spent over a decade studying plant medicines and plant consciousness, working along with the plants and fungi, to come into deeper states of relationship and create offerings that will encourage others to do the same.
Along with those listed above, she has trained in Yoga Workshop Facilitation, the Neurobiology of Yoga, Auricular Acupuncture, Peer Support, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Usui Reiki I, II & III, Neuro-Affective Touch, Vagal Toning Techniques, Embodied Processing, Non-Violent Communication, Emergency Medical Care, and Adult & Pediatric First Aid, CPR, & AED.
She has spent the past decade studying psychology, somatics, psychedelics, global, cultural, and historic plant and energy medicine practices, the neurobiology of trauma, addiction & ADHD, polyvagal theory and application, Zen Buddhism, plant-human relationships, and trans-species communication.
Eden published her first book, The Dharma Files, Emergence in 2022, a limited edition, hand bound precursor to the rest of The Dharma Files series. Ony 100 copies were printed, several have been gifted to various health and earth-conscious establishments, and an extra special edition - featuring a secret seed exchange mechanism - has been put into random rotation to pass through the hands and minds of those who are interested or called to it. (Very few remaining copies are available for purchase on our product page.)
In her free time, Eden loves photography, painting, writing, hiking, camping, traveling, road trips, learning, building, snowboarding, spending time with her pets and partner, eating delicious food, and simply being in nature.
