Creator’s Comments:
I designed this tea for my boyfriend one night when we were at my apartment. He was struggling with grief, with self-worth, anxiety, ect.
Because I had been studying Jin Shin Jyutsu, looked at these feelings in terms of the emotional meridians of the body and the organs which correspond, hence Heart and Lung Tea.
I began to look for herbs in my collection that supported those organs and emotions. As I put together the blend, if I was torn between which herb to add - as it would lean in a slightly different direction aromatically, flavorfully, and emotionally - I would bring each jar over to him and have him sniff each one and choose which felt more resonant within him.
We both drank the tea that night and I was amazed at how delightful, floral, subtle, and uplifting it was. Immediately I knew it had to be a staple. This blend was originally called Lee’s Tea, which I still consider going back to. There’s something about personalized teas, like a regular’s name on a sandwich menu.

It is antispasmodic (helping to reduce pains & cramping), regulates dopamine & serotonin, tones uterine tissue, & aids hormone balance.
As someone with endometriosis that gets exaggerated due to EDS and the occasional ovarian cyst, I swear by this tea and its ability to nourish your cycle by reducing heavy bleeding and providing the body boundary setting energy (as rose and nettle carry strong boundary energy from their prick and sting, making it important, not only to know and respect them, but to move with care).
Fun fact: some cultures use bundles of stinging nettle and whack agitated/inflamed areas of the body. It naturally soothes pain because of the endorphin rush (go into more detail here) and also reduces inflammation. You can also eat stinging nettle (if you fold it the right way and stick it on your molars).
As an added bonus, this tea also helps to replenish iron and other minerals and nutrients lost due to heavy bleeding.
